My name is Suwandi Wendy. I have also joined the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) Jambi since 2018. I focus on covering the environment, human rights, history and gender diversity. I have participated in various trainings, including: Fact Check (Kompas.com & Google News Initiative), Finance Investigative (Responsibank & Center for Investigative Journalism) and data and science journalism (SISJ and US Embassy).
In addition, I also received scholarships, including 1. Fellowship on human rights and disinformation with SouthEast Asia Press Alliance (SEAPA) (2018) 2. Fellowship on gender diversity with AJI Indonesia and the Ardhanary Institute (2019) 3. fellowship to investigate environmental crimes on peatlands (World Resources Institute & AJI Jakarta) 4.
